The call of the Amazon and all it stood for encouraged Dan and he felt the need for us to return to Peru although our last visit just last January was PERFECT except he didn't get to the Amazon. This is actually a 2 part trip with part one on our own and then we join a group from the Botanical Garden. We are planning on seeing 2 parts of the Amazon the northern Amazon out of Iquitos and the Southern Amazon out of Puerto Maldonado.
Trying to figure out how to pack. This trip looks like it will rain every day and the Amazon will be in the low 90's and Machu Picchu will be in the low 60's. A challenge for sure. Stay tuned for more adventures.
